Samphire work with the world's sixth largest trading company
We were recently very pleased and proud to add the finishing
touches to a new corporate brochure for Toyota Tsusho UK. To
win this prestigious job, we had to beat off stiff competition
in a pitch situation, but were quickly given the go ahead thanks
to our fresh, inspirational design work and keen pricing.
A sister company to the more famous Toyota automotive company,
Toyota Tsusho UK is a subsidiary of the Toyota Tsusho Corporation,
the sixth largest trading company in the world with 26,000 employees
and over 30 offices and 180 subsidiaries around the world.
The Toyota Tsusho Corporation was set up in 1948 and is involved
in purchase, supply chain, import, export, storage and distribution.
In fact, Toyota Tsusho operates in six key business areas - metals,
chemicals and energy, machinery and electronics, consumer products,
services and materials, automotive, produce and foodstuffs.
But our contact was nearer to home and we worked closely with
the team at Toyota Tsusho's major office within easy reach of
Nottingham.
As you can imagine, it was quite a creative challenge to showcase
the wide-ranging activities of the company in a new and original
way, particularly as there wasn't a budget for original photography.
We selected powerful and eyecatching images and with a bit of
Photoshop manipulation, captured the essence of the company's
operations in all of its divisions.
Indeed, the client was so pleased with the images, they were
also used for the new Toyota Tsusho website which was launched
soon afterwards and can be seen at www.toyota-tsusho-uk.com
